If your smile is suffering from damage that includes cracked, chipped, decayed, or missing teeth, restorative dentistry at Forever Young Dentistry is the best option for returning your smile to the beautiful look that makes you proud to smile again. The types of restorative options that we offer include fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges, dental implants, and veneers. All of these options are elite at Forever Young Dentistry because Dr. Young and his staff are experienced in every procedure that they carry out – and it’s shown in countless patients’ smiles for more than two decades!
One of the most common dental problems that almost everyone will encounter at some point is tooth decay, more commonly known as cavities. When you have a cavity, come into Forever Young Dentistry, and we can have that cavity filled to return your tooth back to normal. The fillings that we use are tooth-colored instead of the common, more easily seen metal fillings. When you or your loved ones have a cavity, let Dr. Young and his staff repair your teeth with tooth-colored fillings.
If you have a toothache, don’t wait to be treated. Toothaches rarely get better when left alone. Come in to have your teeth checked out so we can find any problems and fix them as soon as possible. Sometimes, the toothache that you have may result in you needing a root canal. We perform a lot of root canals at Forever Young Dentistry, and we’ll make sure that the infected part of the inside of your teeth will be removed, and your teeth will be sealed up and as good as new!
If you have teeth that are damaged or dingy and in need of a serious boost in functionality, a dental crown can do just that! A dental crown is essentially a cap for a damaged tooth that will return the functionality to that tooth by simply bonding a crown over the top of it.
Dental bridges are used when there is one tooth or a few teeth in a row that are missing and need to be replaced. Bridges do exactly what their name suggests: they bridge the gap created by missing teeth in between natural teeth. At Forever Young Dentistry, we do bridges a lot, and we would be happy to repair your smile with a dental bridge.
I looked for a little while. I had been with somebody else for a while and wasn't always happy with the scheduling. They weren't always on time. I pushed in some of the practices and I called my children's orthodontist and I said I don't want somebody you play golf with. I want somebody who's good. He recommended this practice. I had veneers before this and they weren't quite what they should have been. I came to him and spoke to him about improving my smile, improving my overall dental health and he seemed to ... he just seemed to have a good attitude about what should be done, what not to bother with. I don't think people realize that I have veneers. I think I had to have anesthesia once and I said something like, I have veneers and they were surprised. This practice is very efficient, he's very efficient. I've always been happy with the work that he's done. The office staff and the hygienists, they are all very cordial, very professional. They are a very great support group for doctor Young.
Perhaps the healthiest way to replace missing teeth is through placing dental implants. Dental implants not only replace your teeth, but they also replace the roots of your teeth, which will guard against bone and gum deterioration.
I love the staff. I love the doctor. He has been nothing but professional. I like that he had technology and everything that's going on here. I came from a practice that was old fashioned. When I told him my tooth was hurting and he says, Well, there's nothing we can do. Just wait till it breaks, and it did break and then I came here.
The professionalism here and the high technology that he's got going, and he never hurt me, it was awesome, just awesome. When somebody says anything about a dentist, I says, I have the best dentist. You've got to go see him. Honest to God I keep saying that over and over.
When your teeth are damaged or just have lost the luster or functionality that they once had, dental veneers can be placed over top of those teeth to give you a brand-new smile! Veneers are porcelain covers for teeth that will give your smile a beautiful appearance, and it also will give your damaged teeth the function that they so sorely have been missing.
The ideal candidate for veneers would be someone who maybe is a little crowded or they might have extra spacing. They don't like the color. They don't like the shape of their teeth. We can either then do direct boned veneers in the chair in one visit or we could do a porcelain veneer. My preference would be porcelain because it last longer and it looks a little bit more natural, but that may not be appropriate for every patient. Based on what fits into their life, either a bonded veneer or a porcelain bonded veneer to correct the crowding, correct spacing, misshapen teeth that are not pleasing in color; those would be great candidates for veneers.
